6.4 Create a culture of training and development that improves confidence, staff productivity, patient safety and customer satisfaction.
Training is a shared experience and staff need to take ownership of it and make it their own. Early on they also need to see the value of it to their personal and professional development and also the positive impact it can have on customers and the business. It is important to get feedback from your team, as well as visitors to your pharmacy about the product knowledge available. Time spent on this will help you create an environment of trust, motivation and teamwork (listening).
